Designed for demanding heliskiers and combines the best heliski area with small groups of 4 skiers per guide and 3 groupe per helicopter. Our base is located on the west coast of Greenland, in the second largest town called Sisimiut, cradled between fjords and glaciers. It provides all the facilities of a small European town or ski resort with supermarkets, shops, bars... Your private helicopter will fly you amongst Greenland's deep blue fjords that carve far into some of the snowiest mountains anywhere, offering unlimited skiing; large valley, nice glaciers, canyons, steep couloirs with the continuous sea view is standard in this package. While in Sisimiut, you will also have the opportunity to take boat trips, go snowmobiling, watch the seals and whales, go fishing, ski touring and sea kayaking...     Our main heliski area is located 15 minutes south of Sisimiut, near the village of Itilleq and exactly on the arctic circle. This is a huge ski area with over 1'200 km2 for your exclusive use and runs of 1900 metres often ending at the sea. This region is only accessible by helicopter or by boat. We also have another heliski area just behind Sisimiut, the summit reaching up to 1000 meters with plenty of wonderful couloirs with all kinds of difficulties. The snow is changeable and varied, with powder and corn snow, which is pleasant to ski. Vegetation in Greenland is scarce so there is no tree skiing. Whether you’re into extreme skiing or just a quiet and easy descent, we’ve got the heli-ski run for you in Greenland.    
* The cost of the heli-skiing in Greenland, is justified by the distance and the isolation as well as by the organization of the provisioning in fuel oil of the helicopter and the use of the boat. It is also necessary to consider that the life in Greenland is on average 20 % higher than on the continent. Our hotel is a 4 star standing accommodation and is located in the town of Sisimiut. It has 40 comfortable rooms and suites, each equipped with a bathroom, telephone, television, internet connection and minibar. The hotel restaurant offers one of the best tables in Greenland with delightful local specialities.       Our helicopters are modern Eurocopter AS-350 B3 or Eurocopter EC-130 B4, both equipped for Arctic flying with HF radio, sat phone, inflatable skids and survival bags. Our boat, if necessary, to move to and in between the fjords, is fully equipped for professional passenger transportation. Your guides have many years experience heliskiing worldwide and are fully IFMGA / UIAGM certified. Every guide is connected by HF radio to the pilot and is equipped with sat phone and gps. A transceiver with shovel, probe and harness is standard equipment that you should bring with you. An ABS avalanche back pack is highly recommended. We can provide this equipment on request. In the event of an accident, the hospital of Sisimiut is accessible in a few minutes. Our main goal is to minimize your risk whilst maximizing your investment and your skiing.     |
